Adam Scott Cadel Evans

Australia's long wait for a US Masters champion is finally over, but where exactly does Adam Scott's amazing win rate on the list of great Australian individual triumphs this century?

Scott became the first Australian to claim the coveted green jacket when he drained a lengthy putt on the second hole of his playoff with Argentine Angel Cabrera.

Two years earlier, Cadel Evans also crossed one of the few remaining sporting frontiers for Australia when he triumphed in 2011 Tour de France.

And while last year’s London Olympics didn’t exactly go to plan for the green and gold, the performance of cyclist Anna Meares and hurdler Sally Pearson – on the same evening – were among the top moments of the Games.

So now it’s over to you. We want you to help us work out the finest individual Aussie sporting performance from this century, going back to Cathy Freeman’s emotional victory at the Sydney Olympics.

Cast your vote in the knock-out poll below!
