Less then three days after the club's greatest moment, Wigan have been relegated from the Premier League.
The Latics' eight-year run in the top flight ended after a 4-1 loss to Arsenal at Emirates Stadium.
The home side now remain in the box seat for a spot in the UEFA Champions League ahead of Tottenham heading into the final round, while Wigan's hopes of survival are now gone.
Midfielder Santi Cazorla was the chief architect of the win.
